What was your method on this one? My guess being SP first, then water, and then you added something afterwards…was it Oxalic?
If it was i have a question. How long of a window (see what i did there :D) do you have after applying OA to the side of a house like this do you have to rinse windows before etching occurs?
@Dallsheep Sodium percarbonate and sodium metasilicate mix first, then rinse, then brighten with oxalic.
Oxalic: My rule of thumb is to just never let it dry on any surface. If you keep it wet or keep re-applying, it can sit there for however long you want (although it does its work very quickly). Just don’t let it dry, as that’s when you’ll encounter problems with etching or hazing.

Sodium percarbone with sodium metasilicate and then oxalic acid.
When the siding has that deep hard algae, it’s always a ladder job.

Are there cedar jobs where you can apply chem and just rinse from the ground? Every cedar house ive done involves a ladder to get up close enough to wash off the wood pulp.
Red cedar shakes with a old failed stain upon it.
thanks what would your process be for it ?
Light it up and get it done.
