Water tank help

Check GPM at the house faucet and then check GPM again at the end of 300 feet of hose away from the house. Unless it’s downhill I bet there’s a loss of GPM. And then what if they decide to wash laundry or do dishes or take a shower? I bet a six pack of beer and a can of fresh grizzly long cut that the water is just dribbling out into your tank. So you still have to start with a relatively full tank. After trying to run a mile a hose myself I spend the money to rent a big tank.

I think what I’m have decided to go with is use a 500 gallon tank. When the tank gets low the neighborhood hood has a pond. So I will use a triple filter and connect my water transfer pump and refill tank fast and easy

o thought u had your OWN tank…

If you have a 12V pump, just hit with weak roof mix, let dwell for 10min and rinse. From looks of pic have someone drive slowly while you or them spray. Buy an extra tote, cheapest you can find, leave at water source filling. Buy a sludge pump, think Russ at Southside sells for about $90. then just transfer water to trailer tank. PW activated sludge pump transfers at about 10 times volume, so will take you about 5min to transfer. Or, I’d just transfer out of pool. that’s probably at 40,000 gal. pool from the looks of it, they won’t notice few hundred gallons. I did 200 feet just 2 days ago, took me 25min by myself.

Another option and one of the pieces of equipment I use to clean fences is to buy an atv sprayer at Northern Tool (don’t get the model with the boom. They are on sale all the time and you can always get a discount coupon for NT on your phone and use it at check out. They come with everything but a small deep cycle battery. If you keep your truck running you can connect directly to it. You can put it in the truck to apply your chemicals. I would first get a spray bottle (nothing fancy) and create a 50/50 mix of SH and water. Spray it on the fence to see what it does. i.e. how well does is get rid of the mold, what type of dwell time do you need to plan for etc. If you need to bump the % of SH this will let you do it on a small scale to get to the right mix. You might find you do not need a surfactant. If you get one of the atv sprayers make sure you rinse it and more importantly the motor with several gallons of water when you are done. I have done over 30 fences this year with the same system with zero problems. I also use it to stain when my primary rig is down. If you get the fence clean doing what I have described you will minimize your rinse requirement and your time refilling. I caveat everything I post on here that PW is an add on service for me, my primary business is cleaning and staining wood fences, garage doors etc. Good luck.
