I took your advice and applied it. I learned something very valuable from this post. I used the SC, and put bigger tips on it to reduce the pressure (I used larger tips because the grout was compromised in some places and I was nervous about going over 1000psi). Having the spray going straight down did exactly what you said, prevented shearing. I also began at 3%, and treated the entire patio with that. In the end the deep black stains from the oak tree we’re still heavy and un-phased. I did a test area with straight 12.5% and it worked to get those out with no consequences so I used that strength on the problem areas. Thank you everyone for the feedback!
