Time savers

I’ve been in the U.S a few times, once in Florida. Hiking in the Everglades is an amazing experience. Especially when you realize the rotten logs floating on top of the water a few feet from you while you were on the edge of the water busy filming alligators across the marsh suddenly move towards you because they were in fact alligators as well and not dead logs. To say i ran away is an understatement.

Beautiful, beautiful place to canoe through.

Oddly, and definitely over-confidently, I’d rather take my chances with a gator than a shark. Sure, I’m gonna lose both battles but there’s gonna be a gator crawling around with a missing eye and a few poke holes in him and then the locals could call it one-eyed Willy. I just could not even imagine being in the ocean and seeing a 20’ shark circling me. I’d probably die of fear before he even got near me.

I’m from FL. Gators grab you and can typically do a death roll which can drown you. Sharks bite and then many times stop because we don’t taste so good. I’d take the shark I think.

I see your logic and generally agree with it. However, the average alligator is 500lbs and the average great white is three times that. I’m 250. I’ll fight the 500 pound dinosaur any day.

I’m with William on this. You guys didn’t watch enough episodes of Gator Boys. Them gators are made for riding. Can’t ride no shark, lol

@Racer what are these “off days” you speak of

If that dude didn’t have tattoos I’d swear that was a young IBS.

Is that what you’re getting or you already have that and you’re adding on? Pretty awesome art work!

The sketch is what I’m getting. The pic is one we found in my son’s phone off a tat he was planning on getting. He always loved knights. The drawing is going to be similar to the pic, but the helmet will be the toboggan he always wore, with his glasses, his name will be in Mt Dew green and font.

@DisplacedTexan ok, so yeah great white I’d take the gator. I was referring to the standard shark off FL, around 6-8 ft. 8-13 ft gators with a locked jaw and death roll under water still isn’t My preferred.

@MuscleMyHustle at least sharks let go! Gators also have nasty bacteria in their mouths, so it can cause long term problems even if the bite isn’t that bad. Sharks at least let go after they take your arm.

I enjoyed your accounts of efficient ways to work. I do my work steps much like you. Two of the best efficiencies we practice is always make your trip count and never go empty-handed. to uphold the quality of our work we maintain that quality begins as a desire in the heart and then transfers to the mind. We aim for excellence not perfection, knowing that while aiming for quality we are human and can make mistakes. When we make a mistake we try to learn from it, don’t cry over it and try to avoid repeating the mistake. The thoughts about quality come from two books by Phillip Crosby, VP Maintenance for I.
