This is irritating

The truck I’m in was my first PW truck and I bought it in 2004 and being that it’s my smallest (F350) and oldest (88’) it’s not suitable for anyone to baby other than myself. It would last 2 weeks in someone else’s hands. I’m pulling the equipment in it for another larger truck.

Just bought 6 tires for it two months ago that are worth more than the truck it’s holding up but he’s just plain wore out.

Did ya get it ?

No sir no way just going to be spending a lot more time picking up work in our other service areas. We are currently in DFW, San Antonio, Austin and Houston. Wife wants to get a home in Seattle so I have a lot of work to do to go hands off

I love it. It needs bigger mirrors though.

Don’t let the looks fool you it’s GVWR is weaksauce

It’s served you well and paid for itself many times over right? Then that’s all that matters.

EDITORIAL: @dperez is right. It does seem that for the past few months that most everyone that comes on here get’s jumped on. There’s a lot of drama going on here that’s not the purpose of this forum. Go back and read the old Ptstate forum. You had a lot of guys on there who were serious about building their business and trying to learn. I enjoy cutting up and picking on friends on here some - but it seems like 90% of the posts on here are frivolous. That’s kind of what the lounge is for or Facebook. You guys harass and make fun of nearly everyone who comes on here new and 80% of the advice being given on here are by guys who were new a year ago when you weren’t much different.

I realize it’s slow in certain parts of the country due to weather, but that shouldn’t keep you from going out and making some cold calls. Everyone on here should be reaching out looking for some new business every chance you get. There are a ton of restaurants and businesses everywhere that could use your services. If some of you’ll spent 10% of your time in your business as you spent here you wouldn’t believe what you could do. At least 50% of my commercial business has come from simply walking in the door and introducing myself and asking if I could help them. A small $150/ per month acct that takes 45min to do is $1800/year forever if you do a decent job.

Instead of jumping down people’s throat when they come on here, kindly suggest they make an introduction and tell us something about themselves, suggest they read as much as possible and offer to help them if they can’t find something. There are a ton of people out there with various experiences with other things that we could all learn from. I learn stuff on here all the time and I meet new people that I’d feel comfortable in going to if I had a specific question. ie @Greenman .Sure, he may not know everything about pw, but if I had a paint related question, I’d much prefer to reach out to him, who I feel like I somewhat know and would trust his advice over someone else’s. So what I’m saying guys, is that you never know what some new face that shows up on the forum may be bringing to the table. Don’t be so quick to kick everyone under it. Even Grizz has gotten fed up with it and he’s pretty easy going. He’s trying to grow his business. Instead of posting pictures of hugging bears, why not share an experience or tell us something you did that helped you land a new account. Enough said.

That’s what it’s all about, I know your a stickler for maintenance as am I, that proves that taking care of your equipment is absolutely crucial @dperez

Yes, we love it cold and wet. Your earlier post was spot on how I was feeling about everything so thank you for that. You have a much better way with words than I and that is for sure

Look out guys, Dez is moving the the ultimate place in the world to become a mildew slayer.

You asked me many months exactly what oci interval I was running on my small engines and I said about 40 but I really had no idea since I always just go by the color. Well I made it a point to keep record of it for the past few months and averaged them to give you a accurate interval on the oci I use for the Wally World 5w30 full synthetic. It’s 36 hours

Sorry, wasn’t picking on you, I just can’t get that pic of the hug around with perez out of my mind. I think I have nightmares about it as I’m sure he does, lol.
