True story:

My dad once broke into a house to retrieve some music equipment he had abandoned there at a party that got busted up by the cops (yeah, he was a little wild in his younger years).

He had to break a window to get into the house. He left an apology note explaining the reason for the break in, along with enough money to fix the window.

It made the news in his local paper :joy:

Hey Max, thanks for your input. So the issue I ran into was not the cost of a reel that can hold 200’ of hose, but that the cost of a 200’ hose was exponentially more than 2 100’ hoses from PA. And they are under warranty.

Replaced all connections with 3/4" poly braided

The cost difference of the one I showed you is cheaper than 2 100ft 4000psi reels from Princess Auto. The cheaper 100ft ones are only rated for 3000psi. I’m not entirely sure if there’s a warranty, but they sent me a new one due to my lock pin bending.

Yup, so the issue is the hoses not the reels.

What do you mean? Sorry I’m tired lol

2 x 100 ft hoses are less than 1 x 200’ hose

Yeah the prices and selection for everything from hoses to detergents suck here compared to the US. I just use the reel to hold my hose I don’t have it connected to my machine anymore. I have 1 100ft and 2 50ft sections and just take off what I need for the job I’m doing. Rolling up hoses is the most labor intensive part of the job lol
