Sheesh, you young whippersnappers on here talking about fishing at 1am. I’ve got to get up in 3 hours to go clean a garage downtown. Have to be done by 8:30. Somebody’s got to work around here.
You want to go fishing need to come down to this area. Can be in a clear mountain stream fly fishing in an hour, go an hour the other way and be in Lake Hartwell where there are more bass than you can dream about or hop in my little 9.9hp jon boat and go crappie fishing (my favorite) 20min away in a beautiful reservoir. Can be at the ocean in 3.5 hours catching all kind of crap.
But all toys. I want to go visit @MuscleMyHustle one day and get into one of his offshore hotrods to do what has got to be some of the best fishing in the world.
Now the question is do I go to bed for 2 hours or just make coffee and stay up.
I just use the cheapest zebco 33 Walmart knock I can find if I need a reel for something small. Most fun is catching crappie bream on cane poles with crickets. For catfish and bowfin any $20 reel will work. I have up chasing bass in the 80’s and it has saved me enough money that I’m ready to retire now lol
Hey I’ve got a couple Zebco 33’s. Bought em for the nieces and nephews to learn on. That’s what I learned to fish with and 25 years later they still catch fish. In high school I had a friend whose dad was a product tester for Zebco. Spent all day every day out on his company boat just testing new products. Talk about a dream job lol
@MuscleMyHustle Why are you still pressure washing? With your setup, you could take rich people fishing all day, every day & they would be glad to pay you whatever the going rate is as long as you can deliver results & market your business the way you obviously know how to already. Rich people got money. Better yet, you could hire dudes like @JAtkinson & @Innocentbystander to coordinate the day to day warsh’n business while dudes like @dcbrock@Jake_Lambert@DisplacedTexan & myself help clients set the drag on their reels while pulling in a whopper & drive the boat when they ain’t (we take bribes!). Rich dudes like @Racer could be the customer. I’m a little bit jealous of your setup & your access to salt water but you suggesting 900 dollar reels makes it sound like you got too much money. Why not make it count? Happy dude = rich dude, based on my calculations. What’s the hold up? It sounds like you’re almost there!
