Its funny, just here back in December I probably would of not wasted my time…
Now I have too much time. I am trying to spend the down time being productive with vehicle maintenance, rig maintenance, and spending some time learning how to do internet marketing.
Every year I tell myself I’m gonna get all this stuff done, gonna set myself to dominate spring. I end up getting one or two household projects done (or mostly done, after much prodding from the Misses), play around on PWR way too much, sleep way too much, and Spring hits me like a ton of bricks. Going on 13 years like that, lol.
If you can manage to get into some good off-season habits now, you’ll be ahead of the curve. I think it’s something a lot of seasonal business owners struggle with.
I feel you lol, I just started my gutter cleaning company this month, so far 3 jobs, but well I work full time and I’m doing it so I can save up for a decent house wash setup, not really marketing heavily or anything because I’ve read these months are kind of dead
Harold, I do roughly 20 euro cents per ft2 (or 2 euros per m2). The average home size here is much smaller, only 140ish m2 (1500 ft2) and my general pricing for such has been 299, which includes 24% VAT. Expenses are much higher here but I make decent bank.
Luck has come around! I found out that a decent portion of my calls were coming through my ad words. When I had turned them off thinking I was wasting money in January when really I screwed my self lol. Turned them back on and then bam got a few calls, calls turn into referals etc etc. gives me some chances to get in the block.
It is still slow but at least I have some cash flow.
