STICKY Surfactant!

I strongly recommend slo-mo it works really well!

I use slo mo daily and its pretty good. If its mixed according to the label, it runs like anything else. I wish it had some scent. If you use it on siding and windows when your out of house soap it does not rinse well. Iā€™m not going to go through the process of ordering the scent so I have been adding a few oz of apple wash. After a year of trying it out Iā€™ve decided Apple Wash is lame. Powerwash Store is super proud of that stuff though and elemonator blows it away. Sorry for the change of subject lol.

I do not know this to be factual, but a dozen or so environmentally conscious customers out here say Gain contains phosphates. One of the first questions they ask is what soap I use. Supposedly, straight Gain has been used for moss killer out here and its very tough on the nearby rivers and streams (we have a lot of those on the properties we wash). I stay away from it completely.

Iā€™ve learned to spray roofs in two passes with lighter coats of stronger mix.

Southside has lemon scent. Thatā€™s what I use with my Slo Mo until I got some Apple Scent. I just recently got Green Apple scent so havenā€™t tried it yet. Iā€™ll send you some to try if you want.

Thanks for the offer! I will give them a look. I wish I knew of a soap that works well washing houses and roofs by adding more.

I use slo mo on houses and roofs. I add more for roofs.

Just switched over this year.

Hereā€™s my suggestion: Use Elemonator for house washing and get pure Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) from your chem supplier for roof cleaning. The SLS can be, literally, as thick as paste or as thin as you want to make it. Itā€™s unscented, but you can easily add scent to it. A 5 gallon bucket of it costs around $130 and should last you 2-4 years easily. I havenā€™t seen the SDS sheet for Slo-Mo, but I would bet itā€™s got SLS as the main ingredient as most roof soaps do.

After Elemonator for a few years I can tell a huge difference in the rinsing with slo mo. Its really my only gripe with it.

hmmm. I used Elemonator for a couple years, switched this year to Slo Mo for everything. I havenā€™t noticed a difference. But I donā€™t need much slo mo for a house wash.

@marinegrunt uses it, too. Maybe heā€™s noticed a difference.

id like to hear more opinions on slomo rinse efforts.
Iā€™m not getting slomo if it sux rinsing.

I too would like to hear others chime in. To me Elemonator seemed to sheet off glass so well and almost leaves a cleaner final appearance. Slo mo leaves a residue that requires more rinsing and extra time on glass, particularly when its warm out. It would be nice to find a one and done solution. Maybe ClingOn?

I use Elemonator for HW and 1/2 Elemonator and 1/2 ClingOn for roofs, works greatā€¦.smells good too.

How much are you using? Youā€™re HW mix would use a lot less slomo than elemonator. I only use under 10 ounces per 55 gallons and Iā€™ve been using applewash. To each their own but I like it because itā€™s thin but foamy so it rinses well.
