The pump could be stalling. Also have you tried removing the filtration water separator and going straight from the compressor to the pump to further remove any potential issues?
What was your reason for choosing an air pump? It’s a lot of complexity to get some bleach on the wall
Maybe for you. You get all out of sorts and confused if someone tries to use more than one scent. ![]()
I haven’t, I figured since it a new filter regulator, and it doesn’t lose pressure when sitting idle, that there isn’t a problem on the air side. Do you think it’s something I should try?
I went air pump because I had read it was best for longevity.
Yay!!! Lemon lime!!
Lol…That looks like something you’d seen in the rubber scrubber’s thread.
I would try air compressor to pump and supply. Reduce variables. If the pump is still having issues and the compressor is not stuttering I’d suspect the pump. Check hoses to ensure they’re not collapsing or leaking air.
What size is the flowjet, 3/8, 1/2?
A battery, 2 wires, and a 12v pump. Charge $3 more per house wash and that takes care of the almost irrelevant yearly costs of 12v pumps. If a pump dies, you take 2 minutes out of your day to replace it and your back to where you left off.
He probably has a belt drive pressure washer too.
The horror!
Poor guy, preferring headaches over simplicity
Hahaha nope, direct drive. This is all a big learning curve for me. Totally wishing I would have went the cheaper route and did 12v. This whole air diaphragm pump has been a huge headache. I got so much invested in it now though that I hate not getting it to work ya know
I’m scared to ask but you didn’t pay $632 for that did you?
Close to it, yea
Not sure where you’re located but Kleen-rite has good prices on certain things. $234 10GPM FloJet Pump
I’m in Melbourne Fl. I actually ordered this through this other guy here in Florida that selling these as “kits”
So basically you get a Filter/regulator, 10gpm pump, and proportioner mounted on a steel plate. It seemed like a great thing at the time, and still does as long as I can get it to work. Being a newbie at this I figured that was an easy option to have it come “completed” for me.
That makes sense. Hopefully you get it figured out. Trouble shooting 101: remove all but the minimum required to function. If that fixes the issue start added pieces back in until you find whats restricting the flow.
Did you re prime your system?
