Softwash job on hardie siding

Fair to a point. We just want to know that you haven’t been here for five minutes and want to be spoon fed.

That said, I’ve never seen a washer recommend using that stuff except for washing roofs. So you can save yourself a lot of time and stop doing that for house washes. For landscaping: pre-rinse, rinse while your rinsing that side, and then rinse when you’re done with that side. We’re not talking long. Flowers that bloom and Japanese maples are the most delicate. Pre, mid and post-rinse them well.

I’m not discrediting anything @Racer says at all. But he was mentioned in that subject where the chemist gal talked about the sodium thiosulfate or even relied in it and not once did he say to avoid it. She gave the info and she knows her ■■■■. And she said to use it on windows and all vegetation to neutralize the bleach so it doesn’t etch and burn into the glass. So again……contradicting info and I’m annoyed that I looked so deep into info just to waste my money if racer truly thinks I should get rid of it.

No I’m definitely not here trying to get spoon fed in just trying to get some help because I’ve hit a wall and I’m trying to get passed it so I can be successful too. I’ve busted my ■■■ working since I was 12 and I’m just tired of things not working out. I want this to work but so far I’m feeling like a failure! I’ve been researching and have only done a few jobs (because of my fear of screwing up) for the better part of a year! It’s amazing how much info is at my fingertips but yet how hard it is to actually find the specific information.
I just wish there was a chart with each chemical, each material it can and can’t be used on, and how to mix/use it.

It’s real hard to do all the rinsing while washing when I’m by myself. I need to figure out how to be able to multitask the job site in that manner better. I wish I had someone near to show me the ropes a bit because I’m kinda lost. But no one over here that I’m aware of does this. That’s one reason why I wanted to start.

1- make some coffee
2- read
3- read some more
4- wash

Also, for 99.99% of situations you don’t need to neutralize with anything other than water. Especially for a housewash. Just pre-rinse glass if in sunlight and surrounding vegetation and incompatible surfaces (stained wood, etc) a little bit. Research keywords such as : stained wood, rinsing, vegetation, …

I’m not understanding this.

Pre-rinsing one side takes 15 seconds depending on what landscaping is there. Sometimes there’s no pre-rinsing. Then once you have the solution on there and come back to rinse, the first thing I do is hit the landscaping again with a “mid-rinse”. And then as a I finish rinsing that side, I hit the landscaping one more time. Sometimes it’s just a quick squirt, other times if it’s a flowering tree, I’ll take a little more time.

You’re forgetting he is hand scrubbing everything because he can’t get the right chem ratios.

@Sapper509 Tell me exactly what equipment you do have please
