If you use your smartphone right now as your “business line” I generally always recommend SmartLine by Godaddy. It’s excellent and $4 a month. You use your cell phone, but the app you download links it to the new phone # you pick out from them. You get to personalize a voicemail (had my wife record the voicemail message), make and receive calls from the new phone # you pick, text, etc. You basically download the app, and go. It’s super duper easy.
Other than that, guys on here recommended Bidslot which is an answering service - I did some recon on it, but ended up just staying with Smartline.
That sounds like Google voice, you also get email notifications
It’s definitely similar, but there are some differences as well. Ability to get a toll free, caller id shows up as your business#, email notifications. Maybe google voice has these things now.
