Roof cleaning rust stains

Walk away it’s not worth it.
Don’t put anything one a roof that’s not approved by the manufacturer.
Don’t make there problem yours.
The home owner should step up and call a roofer to replace those shingles.

@florida_condo_cleani let him do it! Wel all Benefit from this insurance claim, I mean research :joy:

Florida condo cleaning and muscle my hustle seem to think this is a mistake waiting to happen. Nothing against those guys, but in the 6 months I have been on and lurking on this forum, you have been one of the main constants. Both in advice, knowledge, and general observations. So, your opinion matters to me, even though I have never met you. Do you think I should tackle the rust on the roof job while following your directions or, should I leave it alone? I appreciate any and all comments and concerns.
Thanks again
Lifouman

If you decide to tackle that hot mess , You’ll definitely be better off following @Racer instructions @Lifouman, The man definitely knows what he’s doing.

Heck yeah. We do those all the time. That one looks relatively easy because of access. They’re not hard, just have to go through the process. There’s decent money in doing, don’t be cheap. You may use $60 in chemical. The one you saw took about an hour. May take you 90 min. Charge them like $275. If you decide to do and get it, call me and I’ll walk you through step by step.

On jobs like this, I charge them pretty strong for a couple of reasons. First, not many people want to tackle, the chems are expensive, most that would try don’t know what they’re doing and whatever I charge is going to be a ton cheaper than them having to replace the roof. Get paid for your knowledge and expertise.

I would love to see the before and after photos of this when it’s complete :+1:

Here’s the update!!! The home owners went with another contractor that gave them a bid of $150! Not sure what to think about that. However, I will go by there in a couple of days and take an updated picture and post it. For their sake, I really hope it turns out ok. Thanks for all the advice and input.
