Remote downstream/fuse box/bus bar/volt meter/fancy lights

I didn’t think you had sold any to someone with multiple employees. If you have, give some feedback on how you handle multiple frequencies and how they hold up to employee abuse

Remotes don’t interfere. I’ve tried 4-5 different remotes to see. I would also defer part of this question to guys who have crews. I do not so I can’t answer. But I treat my remote poorly. Gets Wet occasionally and always bouncing around the cab. The box never needs touched by an employee. I haven’t opened mine since I shot the first video.

I’ve sold a around 20 units so far. Surely some of them have employees. I know @Sharpe does!

I consider mine perfect despite needing a new micro switch every couple of years. Proven employee proof

Haven’t had it long but the only thing I could see an employee do is lose the remote, or break the antenna on the remote. Range is great too. I’ve used it at around 150 yards through multiple condos and it worked every time.

I’ve never had my antenna pulled out. You use it pulled out? Try withoutnif you are! Works the same.

Yea but if the antennas not out I cant put it to my ear and talk to Zack Morris!

I could only get 4 different frequencies with China made remotes. Good luck . Happy for your success

@Harold I remember you saying something about the valve going bad. Mine went bad today, but 4 screws and a scavenged valve off a new one and back in business. $25.

Just FYI for anyone else using the us solid valves.

That’s awesome. Did it start leaking, wouldn’t turn, or what?

I’m not sure if you saw the other thread but we were trying to figure out if the two wire reverse polarity would work with a remote. Thread was titled “correct remote valve?” There’s also a two wire auto return (12v power keeps it open so produces a little heat). The auto return has blue and yellow wires. I had ordered a two wire but never used it thinking I needed a 3-5 wire. We were all under the assumption the two wire reverse polarity would only work with a hardwired switch. There’s a lot on the circuit board of the reverse polarity though so not sure what all that stuff would do if it needed an external switch. @dcbrock has a two wire auto return and, when he tried to cut the power, his automatically returned to the closed position. @Firefighter4hire tried the same and his stayed open. He was wondering which one he had but he has to have the reverse polarity for it not to auto return. Reason why he was wondering is the reverse polarity doesn’t produce any heat when open or closed because power consumption is zero in either position. Sounds like the two wire reverse polarity can work with a remote?

It wouldn’t close all the way. Kind of a bummer when you’re trying to stop bleach and have to run back to the truck. Lol

I run 2 valves on a 2 channel remote. Kinda like a light switch. Water on. Soap off. Soap on. Water off. Both valves are default to close, but one is always getting power. It was just simpler that way and I like flushing the injector.

As for one defaulting to open, I’m not sure about that. Is the valve on there sideways?

Both of mine are two wire. Blue and yellow. Just like yours.

I was looking at the picture of the valve you posted above that has the red and green wire. You must’ve just used the valve from that one and not the motor. I was a little confused to see it because the red and green is the reverse polarity that supposedly doesn’t work with a remote. Makes sense now. I don’t think any of us have tested the red and green wire to find out for sure though unless @Firefighter4hire is using the reverse polarity valve.

I set mine up after copying yours. I did come across some 1/4" 3 way ball valves on ebay for like $25 but they’re brass and they come from China so would take a while to get here. I didn’t browse through all of the results so they might have stainless. Using two 2 way valves works exactly the same so really no need. My only thought was one less moving part but, as easy as it looks to swap the valve out, who cares.

Mine works just fine I haven’t messed with it much since the truck is tore down we have been using the pressure pro unit. I do love that thing. I’m going to build new set up for that one. After the new 12v system is installed only got a few things left on that. My exhaust fan will not be in until the 24th so kinda holding up things . I cant decide if I’m going to manual valves on that on or get one of those fancy 3 way valves like @SchertzServicesLLC used on his. I dont really see the need for the valve I dont work alone. But I guess you cant argue with the extra safety.
