Reclaim water on housewash

I’ve been doing the same thing this year, soaping top to bottom. The arguments for bottom-up just stopped making sense to me, especially on vinyl which is 90% of my jobs

Bottom to top is not effecient. Mike K started that and espec ran with it. No yeah world application

In my experience, if soaping with a fan tip, the difference in top to bottom vs bottom to top is negligible. More of a matter of personal preference. As far as double soaping, when going top to bottom you’re going to double soap areas as well. Like any surface you clean you have to overlap a little. I typically do a little of both.

Soaping from bottom to top and rinsing top to bottom results in the top having the least dwell time.

Bingo, and that’s usually the dirtiest part

I never understood bottom to top either. Start at the top and let gravity help you out. I like to start by making sure I get the top peak and under all the eves real good, then work down. It all gets covered anyways, so why would it leave streaks? Sure when you first start you can see streaks where it runs down, but if that doesn’t go away, then that means you didn’t get it clean. We’re not talking about washing some brand new Ferrari, it’s a house.

Great point. I’ll implement this into my washing technique
