Right now the committee is leaning towards Bush country… Trying to close that deal soon.
I think Texas would be good. Personally, I think the things you need to consider are finding a place that’s affordable for guys to travel to, where the temperature isn’t 30 below, and where you aren’t going to run into problems with unions, EPA, etc. These guys are coming to learn and network, not necessarily to run off and hit the beach, etc… Make sure there are some decent and affordable restaurants nearby and a bar in the hotel so the guys can hang out at the end of the day. That’s all you need to worry about for location.

Truth be told we have 2 places lined up in Texas where we also have an attendee who has the garage as well so this time we can go super hardcore and flights will be reasonable and the hotels will be the same. One is aprox 4 hrs south from the other area in Texas and to me, like you, I leaned towards where it’s warm and reasonable… So southwards is what where leaning towards…

That event was a great event. we also have 3 more major vendors John who would like to come to the event as well.
Oh … John, lets not make any statements about the event. I just heard that another City has voiced some interest in out event. It just maybe closer to the west then the east. On the other hand…The East does have it’s advantages.

The east coast is great in season here because of the high volume of people that live out this way. At least it’s like that in the metropolitan area. To pull away to do an event here in season is a tough one to get guys to stop from hustling for the money.
Gotta go where its warm in the winter months somewhere. Allison’s advice above is perfect.

In this event we had allot on the table.
I remember I talked for 3 hours about Garage Cleaning on the stage and another two hours inside the garage. What a time that was.
I say California (disneyland) and this time have Ford trucks. 
On a side note my dad sells fleet trucks and I could talk to him about bring some trucks to the even if it was here in Southern California. Most of what he sells are work trucks. Just a thought.

You should start doing East Coast and West Coast yearly. Of course it should be FREE too. But you can buy me lunch Jim. LOL. And if you need help with a Chevy distributorship let me know. All the ones we have bought I am sure I have a few connections…

We have had several contractors, which maybe I should not name names, wanting us to have it back east so that they could learn how to make 20, 30 or even 40k in a weekend.
But as I have said before, it is not up to me. The committee will vote on where the next event will be. I am just one voice of many and I would want it in another location other than the east coast, but there again, its not up to me.
I would luv for it to be in Europe…well someday anyway…LOL
What kind of investment is needed into equipment to generate that? How many men at work too? Of course landing jobs is needed too, but first things first.

I want to thank the committee for helping put this all together. A lot of contractors was able to ask face to face their questions with a very high ranking State Of Nevada EPA representatives.
What an event !!!
We was able to get hotel suites at $39 dollars a night for all who attended the event. Now because of our volume, we could of enacted the option of adding another $50 dollars to each room making the rooms $89 a night, but the committee wanted to pass the savings onto those who attended the event by giving them the cheapest bulk pricing on the 3 tier upgraded/ higher level, room suite…
These upgraded rooms went for $109 a night at that time and yes, I still have the contract showing this.

At this event we tested vacuum Surface Cleaners and yes, the results was published on the BBS.
Here, Hot and Mighty brought their unit for us to try. I must say, these units are one of the best vacuum units for reclaim out there.
When checking, one should look to see if pump outs are made in China or are they USA made. They may cost more, but the quality is the best.
