So i have a weird issue with having to replace fuel vent caps over and over and over for some reason. We haven’t hit it or anything. They just break apart every month or so. I have put many hours in trying to find those caps on Amazon or elsewhere but it’s difficult since there is nothing at all written on the cap. Does anyone know where i can get a cap like this (same thread and all) and also why do they always break apart very fast even though i’m setting the vent as instructed by the machine salesman?

Are you dripping SH or something on it. What’s all that whitish stuff on it? My fuel caps all years old and look brand new compared to that one.

No sh drips. The white color could possibly be discoloration from when the cap breaks and leaks and i cover it with a latex glove around it so it doesn’t spill while driving, and the gas goes in the glove and stays on the broken cap surface? Anyway they are really cheap hopefully the other ones recommended are tougher.
I’m not 100% sure of the exact numbers so i edited that part in my comment as i can’t find the invoices/receipts in my emails.
I will consider that possibility and pay attention to that.
