That guy had no business teaching anything to anyone

He seems old school. I’m taking it you’re not much of a fan of his😀

I don’t know who he his but,

  1. He is working in Tennis shoes instead of boots.

  2. He is using a surface cleaner with a ball valve plugged into the swivel. Zero means of stopping the water flow quickly incase of an accident.

  3. He is rinsing with a ball valve.

  4. He isn’t washing parallel with the street from the top down. Waste of time and water, plus any lines left are visible driving up the driveway

  5. He has a Uamcc logo on his hat

Lol…very true on those points. And he has white shoes on which is funny. Not sure how he stays clean doing flatwork without boots. I didn’t even notice the Uamcc logo.

I do rinse with a ball valve which I know isn’t safe. In fact last year I was using a ball valve with a very easy to turn handle on it…dropped it on the driveway…and it was like an out of control snake. I was able to step on it to get it under control. You think I learned my lesson?..nope…went and got the heavier one most use on here from PressureTek.

Let that hose hit an employee ankle or the little kid walking down the sidewalk and you won’t have to worry about it any more:). You should be able to control everything in your life except the weather, and you should be working on that.

Can an 8 gpm on a gx390 hit the same height as a 8 gpm with 22 horse engine?

Theoretically, yes. Height reached is a
matter of nozzle pressure and flow rate. Adjusted for variables such as prevailing wind, and the exact style of nozzle and lance used.

Since all shooter nozzles put out relatively low pressure, the gx390 should have no trouble providing the same pressure and flow rate at the gun as the bigger machine would.

I have an old gx390 wasting away in my garage. It would be cool to through an 8 gpm on it and see what it can do.

That’s jiving jimmy. He’s been around forever. Heck 1/2 the time he uses a skateboard when he’s cleaning concrete. He’s pretty innovative at times. Pretty sure he was the one who came up with drilling out an xjet to make low pressure. Has a couple of different little products he sells. Figured you and him had run across each other over the years.

I’ve seen his video on here before but don’t know who he is. They’ve been drilling out xjets since the mid 90’s, but everything is cyclical. I don’t really care about his shoes or hat, but no control over the surface cleaner is just stupid.
