Pressure Washing 101 Guide

I’d say it is a bit late to worry about that, but in reality most of the regulars would probably say it is by design and nothing to worry about…

It’s the closest thing there is to a FAQ section on this forum. The introduction thread and heaths document he’s written go hand in hand. You can only read so many “witch Simpson 4gpm is right for me” threads. It’s become like the YouTube ads you can’t press the skip ad button fast enough lol

I agree. I couldn’t think of something that fit more closely what I was trying to say. Maybe exclusionist? Nah, still not quite right…

At any rate, I think all newbies should be strongly encouraged to read this 101 guide in its entirety. But making it a prerequisite to posting, just feels a bit extreme. :man_shrugging:

So, I guess making a post reading pop quiz mandatory is out, too then… :thinking:

Just wanted to thank you for your guide, been using as a checklist to backup my own start-up plan. One suggestion is to add the “Ball Valve Assembly” as part of the equipment list or equipment use. I have gotten pretty far down the road and didn’t realize until I saw @Racer YouTube video today Ball Valve Assembly for Pressure Washing - YouTube how important this piece is to your productivity and safety. Again, thanks for all the forum info you’ve given.

@GoTwoGuysLLP sounds like you’ve already started most of this but it may help you out. Welcome.

@jeepie check this guide out.

Hey, newcomer here, found out about this site through your Reddit posts. Just wanted to comment here and show some appreciation for all the work you put in putting this together.

I’m hoping to get a company up and running for spring and all this info is super helpful. If I didn’t find this I would’ve been one of those dummies with a home Depot pressure washer doing it all wrong. I’m up in Canada so have a few months to get my learn on and get equipment set up.
