Not dedicated trailer. Will need to unhook frm machine for transport/storage due to trailer storage limitations/options.
Guess it doesnt need to necessarily be portable, but tank would have to be in back of truck, or possibly in end of enclosed trailer to have access from ouside.
Use cam locks to connect your hose to your pressure washer from the tank. Easy day.
That being said… I had to buffer exactly twice with my 5.5 gpm machine. Maybe pressure is lower where you’re at. Have you used a meter on the houses you’re washing?
Think you all have some confusion around buffer tanks… Once the plumbing is done just leave it hooked up dont matter if the house is pushing 10gpm or 2 gpm. If your worried about disposing water once the jobs complete this is where your hudson float valve comes in handy. If you only want to carry 50 gallons max of water and you have a 500 gallon tank set your valve to only allow the tank to fill up to 50 gallons of water.
Same goes for 55 gallons drums if you want to carry 20 gallons of water just set the Hudson valve to only allow 20 gallons in at a time.
Would you just add pvc section to make it sit lower in the tank? And then have another set up at top of tank to surpass the valve for lesser amount?
My issue is the ability to keep it set up, the more i think about it, its seems like i will have to put the buffer in the truck, and then hook up machine at site.
Exactly you just mount it lower in the tank with pvc. You can run it out of the back of the truck you would just need a 25ft hose to go from exit on the tank to your pressure washer.
Watch the video in this link I think it will help clear some things up for you.
