Ah, well Iāve got ya there! I watch most of the popular sports like football, baseball, softball, golf, etc. Football is king. I know youāre a big nascar guy or at least your boys are but Iāve never watched one of those races either. Grew up around dirt tracks and raced dirtbikes as a kid but just never got into cars. I do like that Danica Patrick lady though. Sheās easy on the eyes!

Lol Canadians donāt even watch CFLā¦ Us Canucks love the good ole game of hockey. We live and die by hockey, Tim Hortons, and being sorry. Fun fact, Tim Horton was actually a professional hockey player.

Oh thatās right! Hockey. Soccer on ice as I call it. I call it that because I had a buddy in college that was Mexican and his roommate was a HUGE hockey fan. We got him to explain the rules as we sat around and got drunk watching the Stanley Cup. Nothing he said made any sense until my buddy Pancho told me itās basically soccer rules on ice. I donāt know much about soccer but I dated A LOT of soccer girls so I knew enough to get what was happening.

Do Canadians like that movie Strange Brew? I canāt even count how many times I watched that while stationed out in 29 Palms in the middle of the desert. Mainly because we had nothing better to do unless we drove two hours. Heck,that was probably 15 years ago and that movie was old then.

Iām not a hockey guy though to be honest. If Iām watching sports itās either football or basketball. College basketball is a good watch.

Who is your roundball team? I know Texas just had a guy go 8th overall in the draft a couple days ago. Thatās pretty cool. And, of course, Kevin Durant is a Longhorn so basically Texas is the best team ever. Won the NIT this year, too. Iām told thatās not really something to brag about though hahaha

I mostly just watch March madness but Iād say University of Michigan. Villinova is always fun to watch. Itās hard to watch a NBA game after seeing how much harder the college kids play
Sounds familiar but Iām not sure. Iāve watched so many movies the wife has put on in the past but I donāt usually remember the names lol
I kind of figured. I didnāt think about much at the time but itās kind of disrespectful towards Canadians or at least making fun. We just like it because it was all about saving the beer. At 20 years old and a barracks full of infantryman beer was definitely a number one priority on the weekends if we werenāt out in the field training or overseas.

I find it pretty funny that people who arenāt from here think we speak with that weird accentā¦I also find it hilarious that some think we all speak french . Some Canadians who live out west around Alberta and Saskatchewan do speak with that sort of accent and only people from Quebec and New Brunswick actually speak french.
