My Flexzilla 3/4" got massive bubbles and popped after barely a year of use. I think it wasn’t happy being rolled up flat on the reel and developed weak spots. I now use a Continental hose, looks like you could tow a 747 with it. Kinda heavy. I have it plumbed to the reel and just unroll what I need, flows fine.
A thread on unrolling hose. That’s it I’ve seen it all now.
This is why I like having a 2500gal tank
ugh, 1/2" Kuritec…I have so much of that because someone decided to swap all our trucks to 1/2" without testing, and it jacked uo th 12v system. Had to replace it with all 5/8"
How did it jack up your 12v? But I would be happy to take some of that hose off your hands…
Sheesh, You need to hire me as your operations manager for 2 weeks.
That’s why he hired me…I would have tested it on one truck to make sure it functioned, the last guy just did it on all 4
What issue did you have with Kuritec hoses? I haven’t had mine long but they seem really well made & they are very easy to manage.
They’re great, all I’ve ever used. Operator error.
“Operations error” haha… Have you ever checked to see what gpm you get? I have the NT 5.5 gpm & through 100 foot 1/2 inch hose & a 0030 tip on the softwash gun, I get 2.2. If I had never tested it, I’d be convinced it’s working great… & it is working great for all practical purposes.
I get about 3.5 thru 250’ of 1/2" hose - same pump
If that was towards me, then @Racer is dead on… someone told someone it should be 1/2" because it “worked better”, so next thing you knew they had 1/2" on all the trucks, and for whatever reason, on our trucks, it definitely did not work better. Kuritec is great, just had to go to 5/8". Use 3/4" Kuri on the tank transfer pump too. The issue was purely the sizing.
Jason, what pumps are you’ll using?
