Large volume pumps 8 and 10gpm, gun washing, hose and gun volumes to reduce hand vibration, larger flow, etc

That is…excessive. That swivel you have there can go the other way and eliminate about half of your fittings. Keep plenty of those guns around if that’s what you really want to run. I wouldn’t expect it to last long with SH.

I think that gun will be uncomfortable to use. I agree with others. That’s a lot of excess weight. If you’re having issues with your hands hurting I would only use the mosmatic swivel, quick connects, and a 2315 gun. The 53 gpm gun is going to require more fittings which means more weight. It might not be much weight but you’re trying to make things easier for your hands.

Thanks again you guys. At this point, weight is secondary to getting rid of vibration. I am sort of experimenting with adding so much weight and bigger diameter everything in hopes of some dampening effects. I don’t know. Oh ya, my gun set up is going to be Way heavier, way. I will take weight penalty, or lighten up later depending on how other parts may help with vibration.
So, I switched the ball valve and mosmatic swivel, which made space for pool noodle mod. And on lance, this blue plastic tube is held on between coupler parts, but there is slack inside of tube, it can wiggle. I made 2, one tight length almost no wiggle, and other lance has wiggle space. The lance can vibrate inside the plastic tube. The noodle slides over plastic tube as hand grip and more buffering of vibration. It is just barely loose again, and held on by swivel end and gun end. Everything is water proof and won’t absorb water, and the noodle parts easy to replace if damaged. The gun can be optional for tech areas, this is for big pannels of fence with velcro.

So, like I said, the blue plastic pipe wiggles , so lance can vibrate inside a little, won’t transfer as much as if tight. The orange pool noodle is slightly loose too, so won’t transfer as much vibration. It is all held in place. The blue pool noodle is kind tight on there, and no plastic pipe inside, will see how that works, will see how much difference there is from the inner blue wiggle loose blue one. I can always mod blue side with pipe if it’s much difference with or without.

The pool noodle is two parts here by ball valve and mosmatic swivel, so you can slightly compress it the long ways to access the coupler, everything can be interchanged. I made the lance pipe and noodle pad for each lance, so far 3, but will have 5, easy to make. So, right hand on blue foam, left hand on orange foam, then go southpaw half the time. They are big diameter so hand isn’t in cramped up position too.

Why do I feel like there is a 12 year old kid with nothing better to do posting this nonsense. It’s like my son waiting for telemarketers to call so he can talk to them

That’s not going to work.
Get the best gel padded gloves and if they don’t work then sell everything or hire a worker and use your brain rather than your hands.

The part of me that likes creating or inventing or figuring problem solving, , hmm, maybe so…

Thank you! I didn’t know about gel padded gloves. I have struggled with the hurdle to hire helpers, I have tried a few times, guess I gotta try more. I got this advice last summer from an accountant lady, said same thing, “make money with your brain more, not from wrecking your body, you are getting older”

I was waiting for you to reply to the pool noodles…lol

OSHA offers the following possible solutions for avoiding HAVS: Damping techniques or using vibration isolators on equipment provide the most effective protection. Keep machines in proper working order. Alternate between using vibrating and non-vibrating tools.
HAVS: Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome

This guy’s out there for sure

This may be one of the strangest threads on here ever.

I’m thinking about writing an ebook about the vibration dampening properties of pool noodles.

Nothing prepared me for what I’ve just seen. I don’t know how to consume and process this one.

@cleaner1 There you go. End of story.

Those noodles on there just look plain silly. Part of the job is looking professional including your equipment.

Here I thought pool noodles were only used to shove down where the pool water comes back into the pool so you can drill the wife and kids with a stream of water.
