Keeping water from going through door threshold

We must’ve removed 5,000 pieces of gum that had been baked on for years at this school. These barriers are a must!

White on concrete looks great too!

That works too. I just don’t like the idea of hot water near tape on a door. Sticky mess…

Neat system, looks like you could add some fittings on that hose and use water instead of sand and save the space and weight on the trailer

Im doing a school and its a big job… I did the Duct Tape today and it did fine no water in,
Tks Racer again for the ideal…
Every DOOR had lots and lots of GUM…

Good stuff👍🏼

What type of tape? Doesn’t it leave sticky residue? I think painters tape would be ok, until it gets wet. I usually use a towel, but it’s not 100% effective.

Thanks :+1:

I use 3/4" backer rod from Lowes or Home Depot. You just stuff it under the door… It work’s great!

Lmao. It sounded so good though lmmfao. I’m over here thinking shoot that’s clever. Glad you clarified because I was seriously about to try it

I use 3/4 inch closed cell concrete backer rod. Just force it under the door and pull it out when you’re done. You can use it over and over again. Our local Home Depot sells a 20 foot roll for $6.70.

No problem this was a good thread with a couple ideas

I swear by this tape. Keep 3 rolls on the trailer and some more at the house.
