Red tip. Im not sure why it matters because we are trying to figure whats its putting out with our normal tip.
Pumps are spec’d at the head. Use a short whip line, 5ft or so and correct pressure tip. Set unloader until you get pump spec’d max pressure. Spray into 15 gallon container, or equivalent and see if you get max flow stated on pump. Majority of vendors lie about pump output. Easier way is to use a pitot gauge if your local vendor has one. After you do all that, reset unloader to max gpm and go make money
