HomeAdvisor Experience

Maybe I should try shutting of my residential leads and turning on commercial leads for a bit.

Give it a shot. Never know until you try. Residential leads have been good to me too.

SO I turned off my leads today because HA still hasnā€™t posted any of the reviews that have been submitted on my behalf. Will let the community know how long that takes.

Thatā€™s awesome you have had such great luck. If I may ask what are some good tips to increase my conversion rate? I often find customers not answering my phone calls or replying to my emails.

Happens to me too.

One more thing i wanted to mention, i did a job and the neighbor looked us up on google, found us and called, turns out it was a Home Advisor number, he had to sign up and they charged me $28 for that. He already had my cardā€¦

100% agree josh. I have a love hate relationship with them but it will all be worth it when I do find the reoccurring commercial leads one day. Treasure coast is near vero correct? Attending training camp down your way this January.

Yea.

Treasure coast is this whole general area, Vero is like 40 minutes north of me

When you canā€™t contact them, you ask for a credit for the lead. Iā€™ve experienced no problems with that. But since I really cannot say Iā€™ve been successful with HA yet, ask @squidskc. Heā€™s done really well, and most of his estimates are completed over the phone.

Iā€™ve only listened to the first half of this podcast but itā€™s so golden. This is how my phone calls go thanks to my experience in finance. I was required to make no less than 40 calls a day and the training talked about everything this guy has talked about in the first half.

That training, flat rates, and having a format for a call is crucial.

Listen to this podcast. You wonā€™t regret it.

Thanks man! I will for sure. I listen to pod casts a lot when Iā€™m washing. Passed the time & good learning. I like ā€œhow I built thisā€. Its interviews with successful entrepreneurs.

Iā€™ve been with Home Advisor for most of this season. I can tell you it works great. I also do not like giving estimates over the phone, but if itā€™s more than 45 minutes away, then I do it over the phone while I look at Google Earth.
I talk to the customer, ask as many questions as I can about what their needs are. Iā€™ve sold many over the phone like this. But I dio sell more when I meet them face to face.

Sidenote about Home Advisir, the annual fee goes up your second year.
Hope this helps,

You can negotiate the difference into credits.

@Greg755 the second half of the podcast I posted above is saying everything you told me about YouTube on a phone call a few months ago. And then some!

Awesome thanks! Iā€™ll listen to it during my commute to work.

I like that. It applies to so many things, not just power washing. Iā€™m going to use that on my wife!
