That might be your issues there, yes you need to jump some cables…
Everything I’m seeing online simply says to disconnect the yellow wire. I’m not seeing anything else.
Which cables need jumping?

But youtube “honda oil sensor bypass” I have done it to all my portable washers, its real easy!

I already went to youtube and searched something similar and I just went and tried that search. Came up with 4 vids but none of them talked about bypassing just disconnecting it.
Update:
I swapped out the fuel pump. I had three mid-size jobs yesterday. The GX390 ran for about 2 hours 15 minutes. I came home, parked in the driveway, and ran it for 2 hours 45 minutes.
No issues at all. I’ll be convinced it’s fixed, though, when it has a longer day of being on/off the trigger.
