Goodness. Everyone is so worried about gas and diesel burners yet the EPA just came out with a report that recommends doing away with all EV and HEV vehicles by 2035 because the mining for the raw materials absolutely decimates our planet. Insanity.
Classic example of “we will address it when it’s too late” lol.
My guess is that such a law would benefit corn producers…
Definitely!
I actually run non-ethanol gas in all of my machines, lawn mowers included. It is actually pretty easy to find in NYS. I re adjusted the valves, new spark plug, drained the old gas and put some cleaner from autozone in and replaced the air filter as well as motor oil and pump oil. 2 jobs tomorrow I will update on how it goes .
Anticipation…
Plenty on Ethanol free around here, but only the 87 and it’s same price as the premium unleaded.
That should be illegal.
I agree. For the end of the season last year I went and got 5 gallons of the non-ethanol gas and had that be the last stuff going through my machines (along with seafoam) before I winterized.
Good man !!
Not sure about all of them but my Pressure Pro from PT shipped with a sticker and some literature about winterizing with StaBil products. I’m sure there’s some kind of corporate partnership there with Honda but I’ve used that stuff for over a decade in everything from weedeaters to 4 stroke dirt bikes and it’s always worked as advertised. Seafoam is a good cleaner but I don’t know much about it’s long term storage properties. I’m sure it’s better than nothing though.
I learned from the best.
Man, one more thing for me to look into and see about.
But just the fact that I took some winterization steps was a step in the right direction for me. Lol.
Of course, after the coin I dropped on the new set-up, I wasn’t about to take any chances.
Got a link to that instead of just a pic?
The 93 premium at BP is ethanol free. Amoco, too.
