I didn’t know. I gave them all back to Landa.
Based on the color alone, it looks like a 2605. That’s the one I started with & still keep as a back up. It’s a good one but the 2315 is better in every aspect. The swivels that come on all the Pressuretek hoses do the trick but they are super tight with a trapped pressure unloader unless you are on the trigger. They serve their purpose more consistently with a flow unloader. Beyond that, I’m a huge fan of a swivel every 50 feet with a different colored hose.
The one we tried isn’t a standard Suttner, it was much wider and awkward to use. The swivel was pretty stiff too.
Yep, that looks like it. I’ve used those in the past. Decent starter gun but doesn’t hold up internally as well as the 2315 does.
I will chime and say the swivel is good. Im still using trapped unloaders and have had hoses with swivels in them and as soon as theres some pressure they dont swivel no more or once they get wet and start rusting they seize and become useless.
Keep in mind, if doesnt work for someone doesnt mean it wont work for you. Atleast for me it was a game changer, just like when i got the good ball valve (dn10, not that clunky, horrible one some guys use) and the mosmatic swivel. But like some other guys have said here before, once you get older those external ball valves + swivels do get heavy and cumbersome and tire you out more… so anything that can help mitigate less pain/tiredness is a welcome addition (even if it comes at a higher ticket price).
I think this is similar to debates about flow actuated vs. Pressure trapped. All get the job done the same, but some are easier on the body vs. The other one. We can always replace parts, but we only get one body.
PRICE IS $100.76
I feel bad for anyone that buys the one you linked for $50 more when the one I linked is the exact same one minus the purple insert
Here’s my collection. From left to right Suttner 2305, 2605, 2315 & 1500. The 2305 is the only one that ever had any issues; a pee stream while off the trigger. It also had the least use by far. I started with the 2605 & still keep it handy as a back up (it’s more purple than the picture makes it look). The 2315 smokes them all across the board hands down but you will know when the 1500 is the one to reach for (ball valve on / off, no trigger).
Kleenrite plumbs their equipment backwards. I don’t think they have a grasp on the washing aspect of their product line yet
Don’t forget the H in that model number
Touche! Did you get the new seals installed in those injectors yet?
That one is my SHHHHHHuttner from now on haha.
I did. Easy peasy. The draw rate seemed to drop a little, probably from the smaller opening. But that is a good thing for me. I can use all of the screw in inserts I had drilled out for the GP’s. I drilled one out a little and put it on the spare machine on my truck to use for tennis courts. I am not afraid to bugger something up if it doesn’t work. I know where to get more lol
That one went right over my head! You all know I lack the wit to keep up with you all here
Oh stop that! We’re trying to keep up with you, which will never happen but we can dream.
Through hole in seal doesn’t encroach on barb i.d. so it’s not slowing flow.
Well. It seemed like so I tinkered. It’s kinda what I do:) I am happy and tickled pink with them.
I’m thrilled you finally have a better solution!
If you hadn’t sold me a couple dozen stainless barbs that will probably last forever I would have an excuse to buy more of the shiny gadget injectors
