Lol… You may love how it comes out. I only did maybe 10 driveways back then and they came out beautiful but I was slow at it & I wasnt making enough per hour compared to Powerwashing and then of course that driveway nightmare story.
Good add on though for your business and I also like your idea to clean the oil stains out of residential asphalt Driveways with EBC. Could be a good niche market for you as well. You never know until you try:)
hey guys thank you so much for your invaluable advice…just thought i would share an up date
I visited the customer and as per advice i admitted that I chewed of more than i could eat apologize and offered to cut my loses by having her retained payment. as stated at first i was upfront with her by telling her that this was new to me and i was prepared to do the job at cost. she took this into account and was understanding. however there were some areas that appeared dirty in particular the drainage lane…i am thinking that perhaps i did not wand it down properly although everything appeared clean while it was wet.lol…the drainage lane had residue of dirt due to the wash water not being properly wash down in the drain with clean water so that lend to a long dark dirty line into the drain. although we discuss the test run phase i did not feel well leaving it as is…i made a commitment to return to the scene of the crime and see if i can make a improvement…no promises made this time…lol
by all accounts it appears that i was not patient enough in wanding off the dirt…any suggestions as to how i should approach a return clean up visit…techniques etc…hot water/cold water detergents etc…
I would need to see some pictures to get a better grasp on the situation but if it’s just dirt, you could push it off with a water broom or your wand. I would blow it off with a backback blower before I started to move as much of the loose dirt as possible. Dry dirt is easier to move than wet dirt. If it is moldy, dirty and grimey I would use a HW mix on it. If you are trying to lift oil, refer to my earliers posts
