A ball valve and a hose swivel are two major things that make life less of a pain in the a#*. Also will save you time.
For trying to be a professional you sure are trying to cut a lot of corners…
but go ahead, run your hose without those two things for a few months and then spend the ~60 bucks and you will wonder why the heck you didn’t get them in the first place.
Trey, where did I say I wasn’t going to use those items? I plan on purchasing them. I was simply asking what they were for. Go back and read though. I plan on getting everything I need to get into this industry. I wish I had more money to have a setup like yours. Just because I ask a few questions, does make me any less professional than you. There are many who will share their years of experience with someone who is trying but will quickly freeze up when someone arrives to a contractors forum with the expectation of a free ride into what most of us have fought and starved to achieve. Anyway, I was just trying to save you some headache…Trying to help you out with my personal experiences starting up…I wouldn’t tell you BS.
From the other day it just kinda frustrated me when everybody automatically writes off a tank because their PW is a low enough GPM. Key reason is just 2 days ago I was doing a patio at a townhouse and thank god I had a buffer tank because their source was only putting out lousy 3.4 gpm. You would have been in trouble.
