If it’s a type of job you’ve never done before, asking for some ballpark figures is fine with me, but as @Sasquatch says, could vary a lot depending on location. I ask for pricing help on stuff I don’t do a lot of just to make sure I’m in the right range.

I understand the area differences but the secrecy of it all I find a bit upside down. It’s almost perceived as rude lol even a ballpark. I’m left scratching my head sometimes as to why.
Yes, it’s mostly a verboten subject. To me that’s not a big deal. This forum offers new PWers so much gold having an area or two that isn’t address often is a small price to pay. The level of contribution has dropped significantly in the last year as the forum has changed focus. That concerns me much more.

I think lately overall it’s been a better more educational read, I think people are reading more and searching more as is often requested and rightly so, I can’t think of anything that can’t be found on this forum literally nothing, I just have to key it in and it’s in front of me. Input and contribution really comes from topics that we all can collectively relate to, look at the Covid 19 thread that Sean started that blew up, the rubber scrubbers thread that George started and hotshot keeps alive for the humor that’s still going. There’s countless others. Thers only so much discussion to be had from topics like witch pressure washer should I buy and witch tips do I need. This place is unlike any other forum I’ve been a part of Thers just too much information about everything on here, it’s great! I personally found this forum by accident and never left lol learn things everyday
