Enclosed vs open trailer

On the frame it not only holds the actual pw skid but also my 200 gal water tote, two 55 gal chem tanks, softwash system, signs, and pretty much everything on the back of the truck. Surface cleaner and wands slide underneath it all to lock up behind the tailgate. Here’s Pics of it early on to show how it’s built and how it looks now

This is really cool man. Amazing job!

I’m about to get into the business here in early Feb… I bought a 2008 Tacoma that came with a nice topper. I’m trying to fit everything and still keep the topper on (has tinted windows). I have a 6ft bed… so not too much to work with. Maybe making a 2 tiered setup is a good idea.

Thanks!

Skids work; however, as mentioned above, you can permanently swap it to another truck. This would be “the backup plan”. I’m talking short term, where you’re keeping the same truck and something happens to it.

trucks break down, trailers blow tires, Honda motors quit. Everything breaks eventually. Truck mounted rigs are awesome. The freedom of maneuverability not having to drag around a trailer is great.

Having said that. I have a trailer rig. As soon as I can afford a 3/4 -1 ton truck to dedicate as a pressure washing rig I’m going to make that leap. I hate trying to park when washing multi family homes/condos or any home off a busy road. I make it work but I would much rather deal with the “maybe” of breaking down.

Keep the oil changed, the fuel filter fresh, don’t let anything squeak to long, and fix it when the check engine light comes on and you’ll be fine relying on a truck.

Enclosed, And I can’t wait. Been dragging around open trailers for way to long
