Dumpster Cleaning - lots of pics

What skid unit does N. Ga have?

Have to wait til tomorrow. They were off for holiday today. Pretty sure the only big difference is the size of the fuel tanks. But I’ll compare.

Take a pic

So I’m still waffling on heat or not. It turns out they have two models - the Hydro-tech which I sent the advert for and the other that they didn’t have a picture of is the Pressure Pro skid. Turns out this has 12 gal tanks, but the from is a lot wider than 27” - it looks to be ~35” - so it’s not an option for me. The Hydro-tech frame will fit but has 2-6gal tanks. I could rip those out and replace with 1-12 gal tank and then get another 12 gal, but need the extra footprint for it.

I’m thinking about another plan. I looked at the pressure pro non- heat 8 gallon washer. It’s 17” wide and 32” long - that will fit over my cabinets on the service truck which are 15” wide. If I need heat, they rent a trailer with a 525 gal tank and an 8 gal washer for $200/day. I think I may do that instead. It doesn’t come with a gas tank, but as you suggested, I probably want to get at least!a 12 gal tank anyhow.

Question: Out of all the work you do, what percentage do you use heat?

That’ll work for you.
I use heat approx 20% of the time, less in summer, but use even on house washes when it’s cool.

With dumpster pads, are y’all running into any issues with water reclamation? Where I’m at, they are slowly tightening up on small businesses. I just renewed my business license and they now state you need to remove business signage from your vehicle if you have a home based business.
Made me wonder if anyone here in the southeast has run into issues with runoff from dumpster pad cleaning. (I know it’s an issue in California)

Everything’s an issue in California…you can’t have a gas PW, but there’s no electricity to power an electric one :man_shrugging:

That’s crazy on the signage, seems like a slam on small business. What geniuses passed that law and why?

I think this county growed up! They are getting very strict, and expensive. It cost me $125 for business license and another $171 for my DBA this year. That’s after I had to apply to aloe to apply for a business license. You have to present the letter of approval to apply for a business license along with your additional paperwork (articles of org., etc,)

They are really cracking down on signs though. Looks like residential areas are a non-no going forward. https://www.forsythco.com/Portals/0/Documents/CommunityDevelopment/Sign%20Ordinance%201.5.23.pdf?ver=2023-01-06-085507-307

I mean, how do they address a wrapped vehicle? I know HOAs may regulate them to some extent, but the whole county? :man_facepalming:
