Why does it infuriate you? How do you know he doesn’t have license and insurance. NC doesn’t even require a license anymore. $80 is more than I charged for two pads when I offered driveways. Concentrate on you, not your competition.

Edit: I forgot to answer why it infuriates me. Well… I probably used the wrong term, I’m a little extreme at times. It really only agitated me upon initial viewing. After reading the responses on here it doesn’t even bother me in the slightest. I guess it’s comparable to the guys who are upset about “weekend warriors” because they have an alternate full time hustle/job and take potential jobs from the full time PW professionals. I only say this because I am one of those nights/weekenders due to my day job.
Nevertheless, everyone’s responses here have really changed my initial perspective. I will always have to compete with the guy with a truck and a PW, therefore, I’ll have to build my own value to present to customer(s) so I can obtain work at a rate that will cover at least the expenses.
