For some of us yes.
I use that for each 5 gallon of mix.
I saw someone recommend .5 to 1 oz per 1 gallon of mix to DS 10:1 and it has worked well for me. There is a light amount of suds that come out and windows still dry streak free. I’ll test out .5 oz to 1 gallon and DS that 10:1 and see how it is.
half an oz works just as well. Its hard to notice a difference in suds so, ill continue to use .5 oz of elemonator per gal of mix which i DS 10:1
From 1978 to 1984 I sold Amway products. I learned a lot about myself, my attitude, my service to others in life and their great products. Their LOC (Liquid Organic Cleaner) is a surfactant recommended for many uses, industrial, residential, agri and automotive. Perhaps this will help your search.
Lol, someone here old enough to remember Scamway.
hey so i am just starting out softwashing (well testing i should say, will be using a battery powered sprayer). so i live in a country far far away from anyone selling surfuctants, but luckily i have a chemical shop in my neighborhood.
i will mainly be applying my softwash to walls which are render or stucco and are painted. and since these houses are all attached to eachother i would need something that masks the smell of SH.
3 questions for you.
1)how would i know if a fragrance will work in LO and SH?
-
what is the % the LO should be diluted to in the bleach?
-
what can i add to make it sticky? since all the walls are flat i would love something which can make it stick on better
thanks so much for your time !
Hi,
-
The fragrance houses will have bleach stable fragrances. But you have to ask for them specifically.
-
Look up the dosage for items like Elemonator and SLO-mo. They will have the correct dosage for LO vs SH.
-
It isn’t sticky so much as it is thicker. You will have to play with your blends or ask around.
I’ve never pressure washed anything in my life, I’m just a lab geek at a chemical company, or I was until I moved into regulatory full time.
Good luck!
