Different Chemicals

I think you mixed this one up with the “wanna grill a steak” thread…

Haha! Now you’re just making me hungry. I use these terms too loosely & I’m absolutely terrible about forgetting that tone & sarcasm don’t carry through text. As long as everybody reads all of my posts in the voice of Mitch Hedburg & it’ll all work out alright.

I guess I am referring more to learning about something (or stains) before you tell the customer whether you can handle it or not. Take care of the curiosity before informing a customer. For example, I have a cousin who has stains on his property. I ask him if I can attempt to remove that stain for practice. If I can remove whatever that particular stain is then I will know the process it took to remove it and if it something I am willing to deal with. And I learn all this through practice ahead of time, not on the customers dime and property. And my cousin is informed ahead of time that I am practicing and trying to learn and I make no promises that it’ll work and no promises that the process will not damage anything. I guess my family is just more laid back than most and he just doesn’t really care. But it gives me a chance to practice and, yes, experiment with that particular stain (in my case).

Agreed. Im gonna try on my driveway this mix called Dougout. Definitely not a home Depot chemical. Worth a shot. $60 a gallon.
