Tireshark is awesome

It didn’t work.

Yes several people in the industry offer hands on training classes… Doug Rucker, and AC Lockyer come to mind. They also offer online courses. Doug gives the hands on in Houston, AC in Florida.

In addition to this forum there are about 5 or 6 others that are completely full of all the questions you have, and will have. Training, marketing, equipment, methods, etc. Google ‘pressure washing forum’, then go there and search for roof cleaning, driveways, house washing, fences, or whatever. Search here too. Seriously, the amount of information that is freely given away in this industry is nuts. With a few weeks of research you can know the exact mixes that the top guys in the country are using, and their methods… and none of it is that complicated.

Of course, nothing beats experience… so when your boots hit the ground, it may not be quite as easy as it seemed when you were reading about it, but it doesn’t take long to get going.

No Greg is my name. You have an avatar of an orange and the words tire shark… seems a little conflicted to me as none of these things go together … So I thought I’d ask.

I use a 4 cyl tacoma to tow my 5x8 enclosed trailer, it does fine… im not self container, nor desire to do so. With load “limitations” go with a small tanks. That weight will add up quick with machines, hoses, reels, tanks, trailer itself, various equipment, etc.

Tacomas can tow, but they arent made to do real truck stuff. They are what they are… and i have 2 of them and i love them.

I started with roof cleaning and still do a lot, because I determined it was one of the more profitable niches in cleaning. So completely opposite of what most are recommending here. Still is. Go here - http://roofcleaninginstitute.org/ and read everything for a week or so then pm me if you have any questions.

For 10k you can have a great roof cleaning setup and a darn good pressure washing setup combined.

I initially did the same thing when I moved from FL. To the north. Everybody down there knew what roof cleaning was\is. Problem was every body started doing it and drove the prices way down. When I got up here I thought this will be great, because there was no one doing it. Well I advertised the snot out of roof cleaning and after about 2 years and 30 grand later the PW jobs came in 20 to 1 over roof cleaning. Even though the PW only accounted for about 5 percent of the ad budget. My point is every body has budgeted most if not all of their money for equipment and nothing for marketing and advertising. Some markets understand the concept of roof cleaning and some don’t. Before this guy decides to dive into roof cleaning I would suggest he go to 100 houses and talk to the owners about cleaning their roof and see what they say in a couple of weeks, he will have a good idea of the potential of his market. He will also get a good practice run at marketing. JMHO

What is the point of like bombing someone?

It allows the inner child to come out, thereby keeping us young. It also allow the one being bombed to feel vindicated for acting putzy. Just sophomoric humor.

Some people are amused by watching wiener dogs play in the snow.

You dont have to be juvenile to like wiener dogs in snow…

Passive aggressive entertainment for trolls. Kind of like when a 10 year old holds his finger a 1/2 inch away from a sibling to get a reaction.
