Book Recommendations

Read the U.S. Seal in Iraq sniper book, can’t remember his name though. Not well written or edited, but informative.

Thanks for the recommendation. I Have to sit in a gymnasium for about 8 hours this weekend. Kid’s sport. I read like 11 books last season during tournaments.

Well just dont expect a Grossman’s level read. Fry the brain reads more like a if a history buff who likes shooting wrote a book. It’s got punctuation errors in spots and may even be self published I no longer remember. But it was a great read none the less. Ive enjoyed long range rifle for years and I picked up more than a few ideas that have helped me be a better shooter.

No worries! I always forget about kindle unlimited! So I’m downloading it again as well! Lol

Wrestling?

Harry Potter and the philosophers stone.

I recently took on 'Mastery ’ by Robert Greene and found it interesting , currently I’m listening to a lot of Joe Rogan podcasts he interviews some interesting characters.
A classic book I read years ago written by an extraordinary Australian is 'A Fortunate Life ’ by Albert Facey - a book given to me by my dad.

Believe it or not, they actually re-titled it for its American release.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

I wish, that would be more interesting. Volleyball. It is insane. I thought wrestling tournaments were long, geez, this is sunup to sundown sometimes for 2 days. I like combat sports, have always particpated and watched them, volleyball well, it is technical but no combat. No one gets hurt unless they fall wrong. Not my cup of tea. Having said that if the kid wants to commit to professional tiddlywinks, I’m there, not enjoying myself, but there for the kid. You get one try at parenting, so I am trying.

The main one I know of is Alby Mangal (SP) some dude who took a catamaran half way around the world and had a new girlfriend every week. Loved watching his show when I was younger

Look him up , one Aussie legend for sure- there are a lot though I must admit.
I watched a movie called the World’s Fastest Indian about a kiwi that was a champ. Kiwi legends are a bit rare though.

World’s Fastest Indian is a great movie. Sir Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorite actors.
