Best engine/pump diy setup for under $1000

Some people don’t have $50,000 to start a business. Yes it’s the ‘right’ way to do it but not everyone is flush with good credit and reserve cash.

That may be, but everyone isn’t mean to be a business owner

Is that the prerequisite for being a ‘business owner’?

Man I’d better tell my landscaping friends they’d better quit now because they didn’t buy that new Skag.

I put a smiley face at the end. That makes the statement either confrontational, tongue in cheek, playful, heartfelt, etc… It’s the end all, be all emoticon. But really, buy now what you plan on using 5 years from now, it is way cheaper in the end.

I built a predator 8pm gear drive with a cheap pump for approximately $2,000. That includes a K7 unloaded. I bought the pump, skid, gear drive and K7 from Envirospec.

I’m the perfect example of that, I’m in college and have a budget of about 3-4k.

What size of tank do you need in order to run the 5.5 GPM?

I use a 65 gallon and have never come close to out running it. Could probably get away with a 35 gallon

yeah i also run a 65gal but i definitely could use more. i’ve had a couple times where after like 30min of surface cleaning i’ll be at like 25 gal left so if i weren’t paying attention i could’ve ran out. that’s just cause i’m around 7gpm, 5.5 and i’m sure it’s good

This link doesn’t work, I’m getting a 404 error. Anywhere else I can go to see this information

@tycase , Heath updated the link a few posts above
