Great Wolf Lodge is a good time. I’m jelly!
We do it every couple years. Love it!
If you’re ever in God’s country and you’re a fan of water parks you should check out Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, TX. That park is awesome! On the way back to your yankee homeland you can swing through the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX and compare the two!
No problem, yeah I’d rather be able to get going with it. Be a few days until I get it hooked up.
All the rushing me and you aren’t putting it right to work? Booooo
I’ve spent months and months in your neck of the woods on wind farm projects. Texas is “OK” at best lol
It’s got to be better than AZ. I just got back from there. Great people but otherwise I think it must be similar to hell. 108° on a partly cloudy day!
Aw, come on now! You need a guide to enjoy the finer parts of Texas! We keep all the good stuff hidden away from all you yanks and the hippies from Cali that are flooding in.
I have family out there. They say it’s hotter here in Illinois when it’s 85 than it is there at 105. The humidity here is something else. All the corn really seals in the moisture lol
why in God’s name would people from California be flocking to Texas? They run out of their own farts to smell and need to visit Amarillo?
I got to San Diego and it was 68°. Ahhhhhhhhhh!
No joke. I had a buddy in college in Oklahoma that was from Iowa and on the golf team so he was used to the outdoors. He had a legitimate heat stroke at golf PRACTICE one day! He said it’s entirely different.
They are flocking to Austin and DFW mostly. Austin has been ranked the #1 city in America to live for years now and the job market in Texas is generally very strong. The bums from the west coast also think they can go to Texas and ruin it the way they did Cali. Fortunately, nobody messes with Texas. So things will continue on like they have been and if the bums don’t like it they can get out.
Yeah but I bet you didn’t say that out loud! You’d have emphysema from taking a deep breath in Cali.
SD was beautiful. Not even close. I am use to good air being from the PNW and I didn’t notice a difference between AZ and SD.
Politically TX is going to go through Hugh changes but do will NM, AZ, NV, etc.
Eh, we’ll see. Austin has been a left leaning city for as long as I can remember but the powers that be still understand that there are lots of moving pieces and BMD’s to please. I will say that I’m glad to see one new law in Texas. Just raised the legal smoking age to 21.
Oh Austin will likely always be the edge but the rest is changing just the same.
Honestly, the lawmakers can do whatever they like because when I retire I’m buying 10,000 acres in Nowhere, TX where my nearest neighbor is 30 miles. I just need a shack with satellite internet and enough ammunition to arm a small militia all to myself. And my wife, of course. She says she’s down but we’ll see how long that lasts when she figures out the nearest hair and nail salon is 200 miles away…
How ya gonna afford 10,000 acres? Hit quad sixes in a poker game?
