I got one to make you feel better about the recap buddy. Tuesday night flash flood. Wave hit the truck and stalled it. Truck spent 10 hours under 5 and a half foot of water… I havent got confirmation from the insurance company yet but once the water cleared and I towed it home I checked the air filter and it was soaked. 1 and a half years old with 18k miles… total loss!
And just for good measure my storage unit flooded al well lol

I sent the money in the blind without a second thought. Didn’t even cross my mind to get screwed by Chris. And as @Racer said, they work flawlessly. Definitely worth the money and the wait if need be. I wish I could borrow him for a weekend to get my rig up to par with plumbing.

Well, apparently people can’t freaking read if they think I was insinuating that Chris isn’t a stand up guy. So much internet BS drama. I’m sick to death of it. I was simply suggesting that you might build two or three and keep them in stock. If that’s not your business model so be it. I’m only speaking for myself when I say that I have lost money by ordering things that weren’t built yet, because parts got back ordered, someone got busy (or divorced) something was lost, etc. Hopefully everyone understands I’m speaking about my own preferences based on my personal experiences. If people don’t understand that then, whatever…

Yeah, no kidding? When I asked about them I was told there were none in stock, he didn’t have all the parts, and had no idea when or if any more would be built, so I didn’t order one. Sounds like we’re saying the same thing
I only was defensive because if it needed to be mentioned that being burnt happened to you in the past, it says to me I’m not trustworthy. I know you don’t think I’m that type. As you were wanting a unit not that long ago and never said a thing about prepayment.
