Advice on starting my own business (Unique Question)

Hey just took a look at your Pressure Washing 101 Guide and I have to say it’s a pretty good resource for newbs. I’m still a new after doing this business for 6 months and there’s some great guidance in here. Even though I’m a newb at PW’ing, I have a masters degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship so I hope this endorsement carries a little more weight. Thanks so much for sharing!

If it’s the same guide I’m thinking of, @TexasPressureWashing made that, just a heads up. Much success!

@NeptuneClean thanks for the kind words Bill. Glad it’s helped you out!

What set up do you have? We use this XERO Pure | Pure Water System | WCR – WindowCleaner.com along with these Tucker Waterfed Window Cleaning Brushes - Nylon, Hybrid, & Boars Hair – WindowCleaner.com brushes - as long as we maintain/replace the brush when needed and the service the purification system when needed, along with checking the TDS every other day or so, we get pretty damn good results almost every time. Granted, you do have to learn how to angle the brush correctly, and some windows require more scrubbing than others. Very rarely do we have to pull out the ladders and hand scrub the glass, but even if we do, its normally just 1 or 2 windows.

@Atlas1 first you slam a guy and he attacks me and now you wrote my guide. :man_shrugging:t2::sob::sob::joy::joy::joy:

Have a good weekend Jesse, appreciate you!

I didn’t read the comments past like the 20th one, so if this comment seems out of place, that’s why.

The adage is true: it’s not about how much you make, it’s about how much you spend.

This applies in all areas of life, and here as well. Why do you want 6 figures? Is it not more important that you have disposable income and plenty of profit? You can easily make 100k in your first year… provided you spend 25k on advertising. What you should be asking is “can I make enough money in this industry that, if I spend and plan WISELY, I can live comfortably and without too much worry?” The answer is yes, most certainly.

I reckon you could absolutely make six figures a year in the pressure washing industry maybe even a bit more if you got a bit of fire in you.

Just have a go at Jim Gamble, rumour has it he banks 6 figures rinsing 24.3 parking garage ramps while teaching people contract negotiation skills as they use their own equipment- or something of that nature

But then again its also possible to make 6 figures by spending a night or two playing poker with your last 50 bucks.

Im sure it comes easier if a bloke has unwavering dedication, requisite skills, sound business acumen, a positive attitude, industry experience, cat like balance for roof capers, rock climber strength to unlock jammed QCs and a lot of patience.

It probably also helps to have a certain amount of luck.

Anyway that’s just what I heard some old fella telling the barmaid down the local -

Works :+1:

Great videos by the way. Some of the best I’ve seen. Commercial quality

That’s an amazing website man!
Below the “here’s how it works” section is veteran owned business supposed to be below that or above It with the other things like pwra badge? And just curious during your video you mention step 3 is your cleaning lasts 5 times longer than bleach and water alone?

In your video you have a graphic that claims your results last for 4-5 times longer than bleach and water alone. What process are you using?

Hey CPW, to be honest I researched many large companies for ideas on marketing and I think that claim might have come from a Softwash Systems company. I have no scientific data to back that up but from my research… neither does anyone else who’s using it. I’m no rocket scientist so my cleaning solution has a cleaning agent/surfactant branded by a local PW store (Pressure Works). It’s call “Brown”. It’s pretty amazing in that it not only a improves the bleaches ability but also helps melt dirt, grease, ect. I don’t use this on roofs however but it works great for siding, concrete, decks, fences, and even getting mild tiger striping off gutters. As a bonus it has a time-released bleach neutralizing property to it. It’s helpful when spraying around expensive plants in that the bleach that hits the soil will neutralize in 24-48 hours instead of days or weeks.
