There is no need for insurance. I aint gonna mess anything up. I used a pressure washer on my car before and it turned out fine.

I really hope this is a joke.
You plan on being a ā€œproā€ with a $99 pressure washer.

What do you mean?

Washing a house and spraying down your car are completely different. Its illegal not to mention plain old deceptive and irresponsible not to carry insurance. Let you client know that you dont have insurance " because you ainā€™t gonna mess anything up" and see how that goes for you. Iā€™m not trying to be rude but your posts are ridiculous. This is a professional forum for professionals. From what I can tell my clients are more educated on on pressure washing than you are.

Heā€™s trolling.

Ignoring the troll. I have had exceptional results with ā€œThe Home Magā€ and their cherry picked zip code magazine ā€œHome Improvedā€. Itā€™s not cheap at 6-900.00 per month depending on the size of the ad but one good job or two medium jobs is break even. They publish in different cities around the country. Iā€™m down to 8 jobs on the books right now but was at 28 this summer. This is for wood restoration with PW as an added service but I think the model will hold up in most places. They do all the artwork etc.
Oops, this is a rather old thread but thatā€™s what the 2d bottle of red does to me.

The home mag near me is market magazine. They boast 40-50k homes delivered a month. Around 400 for 1/4 page ad but itā€™s littered with pressure washers. Iā€™ve seen 5 companies in the same month with Perfect Power Wash out of Akron on the cover which is a 2k spot. Whatā€™s your competition like in the magazine.

There are 2-3 other fence staining companies in it. All are big companies with multiple crews and they are about 30% less than I am. I still get plenty of work for me. If I were running crews I would have to drop the price to ensure getting more work. There are seldom if any pressure washing ads in our HM. Also look into the Home Improved mag. Itā€™s smaller and has a smaller circulation but they are generally in all the high dollar areas of town.

I keep myself busy enough through only word of mouth and business cards i post on local boards. Also have a vehicle magnet that is identical to my business card ill slap on my tailgate of my personal truck every now and then.

The neighbor hoods around me are plentiful. Most dont seem to know anything about house washing. Softwashing is not known at all and roof washing is new to everyone I talk too. Im spreading the word one roof at a time. Im in a great market I think. Word of mouth is working for me
