Who makes a 4.5 or 5 GPM pump

sit and spin

While i agree in certain situation it can be best to buy used why risk it on something that you depend your lively hood on. I dont want to be fixing something everyday, as time is money. It would be one thing if he was looking at a 10k skid but a $1500 machine should only be 2 or 3 house washes and its paid for. Once you have it then yes learn how to fix and replace but why from the start have to be fixing stuff.

You’re commanding that much money per house huh ?

I wish people here would get real. $1500 divided by 2 = $750 —divided by 3 = $500

What kind of message does this send the new guy in the business ?

I should be charging $500 or more per house ?

These large photos should be banned from BLOATING UP THE PAGE WITH GARBAGE !

Yes, assuming that the house is over 2,200 square feet.

Those are on average size homes, If the dont like my price theirs a guy on CL that will do everything for $100. That must be you.
Im new (first year) but dont move my trailer for pennies, im not the most expensive guy in my area but im working at increasing my prices. Most of the time im able to average 350-600 for smaller homes. According to you, your cleaning million dollar homes, so if your making less than $500 on those home i feel bad for you having to unload all that equipment for pennies. You need to become a better salesman and raise your prices. I know different areas, overhead, and you not wanting to grow outside of being a one man show but still…

Personally i think the message is: Theirs money to be made if you know how to make it.
Know your worth and don’t settle for less.

Yep. I’m pretty new to this, but my average ticket has been right around $500 for smallish/medium homes. Lowest I’ve charged is $200 for a mobile home, and my largest single residential job has been $875 (easy 6 hour day, including washing the exterior windows)

If it makes you any happier (I’m sure it won’t ), instead of putting a number of jobs, let’s say the machine will be paid for in 1-2 days of power washing. Mine was.

Of course, it will likely take a few weeks or more of power washing to recoup your full investment of trailer, hose reels and other support equipment, and not least of all the time and sweat equity put into researching and assembling your first real rig.

Still not a bad deal when you consider that in most businesses, the ‘break even point’ of an investment is measured in months or years, not days or weeks.

One day you guys will understand basic economics and competition. You don’t now…
But i’ll mark this post 10/12/2016,and in about a year you can re-read this post.

, you’ll understand what i’m talking about 10/12/2017 If you’re still in business… lol . Good day !

What? You think we’ll LOWER our prices in a year?! LOL I’m planning on getting some new equipment next year, I’ll leave my current setup out in the weather for 6-8 months after that, then make you a nice deal on it.

I can’t tell if you actually do what you say as you’re just too (not “to” or “two”) stubborn to listen and you WANT to stay broke, or of you’re just messing with the new guys…Either way, it’s gotten past ridiculous.

re:Atlas1… I don’t recall you being in this debate —Why are you here ?

Excuse me??? First off, last time I checked invitations were not required before a person can enter a conversation. Second, I “entered this debate” to help ensure that your idiotic “advice” isn’t taken seriously by those who aren’t experienced enough to know that they should ignore most, if not all, of what you post on here. That is why I’m here.

Any more questions?

I wasn’t talking to you !

Don’t give that kid the time of day he’s just some punk high schooler that’s done with his homework and doesn’t have a ps4 or what not to play

I looked up on google ,street view and maps where Donte55 lives… ( via his website info) … Not much money in that town. There will always be someone who under cuts his price…Trust me, that’s just how the market works.Your service ain’t that special to the average Joe…Especially if you’re starting out at $500 per wash…of these very modest homes. That’s why I was out working today and not playing on the computer. That’s why my equipment is so worn out. I keep the phone ringing at the right price point. They’ll figure out the right price point, just give them a few years.

Please dude…keep reading the forums… Do your homework !
