Why would your kids be holding beers, and why post it?
My help.
We quit drinking when our kids were a little younger than that age in hopes that they wonât put beer in their hand or at least until they are old enough to know better. I donât really know if that logic works but it canât hurt and it makes my wife and I sleep better at night.
Bingo. Everyone has to decide what is best for them but top put alcohol in the hands of kids and then post it on the computer is pathetic. Feel sorry for those children.

Yeah, honestly man, probably wouldnât have posted pics of the kids with booze in their hands. I have pics of me in a diaper and cowboy hat drinking a sip of bud light through a straw, but I would not post that online. Theyâll come and take them away for that type of stuff now a days. Not like back in the day anymore.
I was in a Facebook group and a good friend of mine, who I happen to know is a great dad. He was on the wrong end of a dogmatic argument with a super vindictive lady. Long story short, she called child protective services because she thought his opinion was detrimental to raising his children. They found his workplace via Facebook, called his employer demanding an address, and showed up to his house during a family cookout to âinvestigateâ what turned out to be false claims.
We live in a wild time.

My wife is a 2nd grade. Sheâs required by law to report anything that she finds out about her students that could put them in harms way. Iâm not saying she would call cps because of a photo of a child holding an unopened beer because she wouldnât. There are plenty of teachers and people out there that would though. Iâm sure youâre a good parent and nothing would come of it but they would still open an investigation. It would just be a pain to deal with and theyâd probably keep an eye out for who knows how long. They have to pretty much investigate any kind of complaint at all. Just something to think about.
