Away from work my two little girls make me smile and wife keeps me busy and I still get the chance to take my boat offshore not enough.
We have a rural property one hour away from Darwin city that we have called home for 12 years.
Darwin is a small city with only 200k population but has 2 LNG refineries and other mining infrastructure.
Due to our tropical climate mould flourishes.
Pressure washing has always been a preparation step of my exterior painting system however in recent years I have branched out by offering a more complete package including pressure washing of any other suitable sufaces desired by clients.
This has seen me progress from killing 3 direct drive cheap washers and upgrading to a Spitwater 3650psi 4 gpm unit with 18 inch SC and adding more accessories including , turbo nozzle, flex tip wand , sandblaster ,extension pole, mosmatic roof cleaner, 240v water water heater and recently 3000psi 5.5 gpm and 3000psi 8gpm machines with 22 inch SC. Atm I run Spitwater ( Australian assembled machines - Honda engines and Inter belt drive pumps)
Due to a chronic lack of pressure washing expertise in my area and probably most of Australia I have self trained until recently discovering PWRA and have spent many hours reading interesting and sometimes funny posts regarding the industry.
Pressure washing only just exists here and NOBODY has heard of softwash however the black mould just keeps spreading and somebody is going to have to clean it…eventually.
