Xjet malfunctioning

Just a quick question. I purchased several different xjets for our 4 gpm 4000 psi machines. They work, but when it is spraying soap it pulls at a regular pressure for a while, and then at a lower pressure. It goes up and down with the pressure. All the xjets do this. Has anyone had this experience, and did you find a solution?

Pressure…as in amount of flow coming out or chem being drawn?

Usually when I’m rinsing, but I believe it does it both drawing chem and rinsing

I’m not following.

I should ask, are we talking about the M5 that snaps onto the end if your wand? I don’t remember having any ‘pressure’ surges, sounds like more of a machine issue.

Maybe the other guys can help, I stopped using that thing when I pieced together my mobile 12v.

Yes, I’m talking about the M5 with the hose that siphons out of the X-jet pail.

Ok so rinsing, are you turning the plastic ball valve off or pulling the hose out of the pail?

Throw them in the trash and then you won’t have to worry about anymore.

I’m turning the plastic ball valve off.

That’s helpful lol.

I can only tell the truth, it’s a character flaw, lol. I’ve never once had to worry about my xjet working.

One of the first comments on read on this forum was you giving step by step instructions on how to throw the xjet as far into the woods as you can to make sure you lose it for good. That always sticks in my head so I still haven’t bought one and probably never will unless it’s a peculiar situation where a 12v just won’t work. Carrying around a bucket of mix just never sounded like much fun.

The x jet saved my butt one time when my injector failed and I realized I had no backups. Finished the job with the x jet, ever since I always have atleast 3 spare injectors and never used the x jet lol
