Hello I have a home to clean with a lot of wood trimming. Has anyone cleaned anything similar. Was going to hit the stones with Xjet open but would be too hot for the wood I think.

I only use gain @ the moment so just gain / water on the wood then? It doesnt look too dirty.

I wouldn’t use gain at all and those rocks don’t look bad. I would use sodium percarbonate and a little Elemonator myself. Always start with the least aggressive chems if you can, especially when it’s not real dirty. Just did a house with percarbonate and Elemonator turned out great, customer was thrilled. So…don’t always go to SH, many chems out there to get the job done effectively and safe.

I would just wash the entire thing with a 1000 psi tip from a safe distance. No sh on stained wood at all for me. Like said above only spot treat growth with very light sh and rinse real well. Recently I had an euphony that I can just clean most homes here in California with Soap and warm water. Been using green wash and terra wash only and it’s been working great.

You need to hire a professional for this job. That’s a nice house that you don’t need to learn on.

Agreed, I’m two years in and wouldn’t touch that.😳

Example, I did a sizable white house with wrap around front porch this summer. He wanted ”everything white” cleaned, and he also pointed out the porch ceiling is lacquered dark wood and “not worry about it getting stained as it’s being refinished”.

Sure enough, a mild housewash mix spotted it pretty bad and honestly I wouldn’t have realized it could do that. Thankfully he knew that after I mentioned using bleach before the job.
