Window break

So I was softwashing a house today with minimum pressure and looked up and seen a broken window. I have no idea how in the world it happened but I imagine water got where it wasn’t supposed to be somehow… built Pressure because of heat, and cracked it. Does that sound right? This is the second time this has happened this year and I honestly have no idea how to prevent something like this from happening. I’m super careful. It was a 3rd story window and I’m using a 4gpm machine with a soap shooter tip so you can imagine how minimal the pressure was at that height… any advice or explanation? Thanks y’all

Ps… I didn’t see it break but when I looked over it to rinse it, it was cracked

Was it broken when you got there? I always make sure to walk around a job and take a lot of pictures. That way if something happens you can have proof if it was you or not.

Nah man. I looked around first and didn’t notice it. I’m pretty sure I did it somehow

Anyone have any thoughts??

Ask the homeowner. If they’re decent and honest, they’ll tell you if it was broken or not. If it wasn’t, fix it fast.

Are you using hot water to wash houses. Heat on cold glass will make it crack. Just a thought.
